Canticum Salomonis has two interesting articles on the neo-Gallican ("Jansenist" was never an accurate generalization) liturgies for November 2 and the contrast between the rationalistic French rites and the organic Roman tradition. The latter's unique features, explored in the second article, were clear influences in the 1911-3 reforms to the Breviary's psalter throughout the year and especially the unique November 2 Office.
